Overview

For the brief ''DATA MIRROR'', we were asked to define what that means in relation to data, what we understand and how that relates to knowledge about oneself, tracking of data, and how the users will visualize the data.

Building on the concept of a Data Mirror helping users understand their emotions, we conducted research to validate a wealth of initial ideas. This research helped us refine our focus and identify the most promising avenues to pursue.

We delved into color theory, exploring how different color combinations (e.g., complementary colors) and individual hues (e.g., red for Anger) can evoke emotions. Recognizing the influence of personal preference and culture, we developed a custom feedback color palette. This user-centric approach ensures that the visual elements seamlessly align with user sentiment, creating an immersive and unconventional design experience.
